Associate Therapist

We all deserve a space where we can feel seen, heard, and supported, especially when life feels uncertain or emotionally challenging. Whether you are feeling stuck, navigating a transition, or trying to make sense of long-standing patterns, I see therapy as a space where we can pause, gain insight, and move through stuff —together. My goal is to create a relationship that feels warm and collaborative, where you feel truly supported, respected, and able to move at a pace that feels right for you.

Born and raised in Colombia and having called the United States home for the past 15 years, I bring a culturally responsive perspective to my work. Living between cultures has taught me the value of curiosity, empathy, and honoring the complexity of each person’s story. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 11 years in the corporate world, working in human resources. In roles focused on coaching, professional development, and employee relations, I had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, burnout, and major life transitions. These experiences continue to inform the way I show up in the therapy room.

I work with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, workplace stress, and relationship challenges. I bring a trauma-informed lens to my work and strive to offer a space that balances emotional safety with growth. My therapeutic approach is integrative and strengths-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), psychodynamic theory, and Positive Psychology. I tailor each session to the needs of the person in front of me, always considering their personality, cultural background, values, and lived experience.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and am currently completing a second Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Columbia, as part of the bilingual track. I also have a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Outside the therapy room, I love spending time with my husband and our two cats, visiting family abroad, trying new workout classes, and exploring New York City’s cultural and restaurant scene.

I offer bilingual therapy sessions in English and Spanish.
