I view therapy as a collaborative process that encourages deeper self-understanding, emotional insight, and intentional growth. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up fully as yourself without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, relational, and informed by curiosity, compassion, and cultural humility. I believe our experiences, relationships, identities, and environments shape the way we move through the world, and I aim to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can deepen their self-understanding, build on their strengths, and navigate life’s challenges in ways that feel authentic and aligned with their values and goals.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, relational, and informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based approaches, and evidence-based practices. I recognize that each individual’s experiences are shaped by the intersection of their relationships, identities, environments, and broader life circumstances, and I approach each client with cultural humility, curiosity, and compassion. I value creating a supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel empowered to deepen their self-understanding, build upon their existing strengths, and thoughtfully navigate challenges in ways that feel authentic and aligned with their personal values and goals.
I am especially passionate about creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and able to bring their full selves into the therapeutic process. My perspective is shaped by an awareness of the ways culture, identity, relationships, and systemic experiences can influence emotional wellbeing and the ways people understand themselves. I welcome clients from diverse racial, cultural, gender, and sexual identity backgrounds, and I approach each person with openness, respect, and genuine curiosity about their lived experiences and perspectives.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University and received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University. After graduating, I spent a year living and working in Spain as an assistant language teacher. This experience further shaped my understanding of the challenges, growth, and self-discovery that can come with navigating unfamiliar environments, cultural transitions, and major life changes over time.
When I am not in session, I am likely exploring the city with friends, experimenting in the kitchen, or traveling.
I look forward to working alongside you as you build on your existing strengths and move toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic to you.
