Following a rewarding career in the corporate world, Tracey returned to school to pursue a graduate degree in mental health counseling. In doing so, she combined her life experience and interest in psychology with her innate capacity for counseling others. With an approach that is empathic, respectful and collaborative, Tracey actively engages with her clients, providing a safe and supportive environment in which they can be themselves and feel heard. It is Tracey’s belief, firmly supported by her experience, that building a strong and trusting relationship between client and therapist is the most essential component to providing effective therapy.

Tracey utilizes an integrative approach to treatment, tailoring her work to address the unique needs of each client. She strives to help clients recognize where they are stuck and to make constructive changes toward achieving more satisfying and balanced lives. She is trained in (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (ACT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) as well as in Psychodynamic and Mindfulness Based therapies.

Tracey’s areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relational issues, life transitions, grief and loss. Additional areas of interest are animal-assisted therapy and music therapy. Tracey is a member of the American Counseling Association and the New York Mental Health Counselors Association.
