Associate Therapist

When we feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unheard, it’s natural to seek clarity and connection. I believe therapy is about more than solving problems—it’s about building self-awareness, moving through life with purpose, uncovering strengths, and empowering meaningful change in your thoughts, actions, and relationships.

My path to becoming a therapist has been deeply personal. I learned the importance of grief, resilience, and growth through experiencing the unexpected loss of my partner in 2019. Navigating this loss taught me the importance of processing difficult emotions and reframing beliefs. Using cognitive therapy interventions, these are lessons that now guide my work with clients.

I know the importance of transforming pain into purpose. I also know the importance of having a sense of humor and balancing the heaviness of living with the levity of life. Before transitioning to mental health counseling, I worked as a firefighter, where I learned the importance of resilience, teamwork, and compassion. Therapy works best when it’s built on mutual trust and genuine connection. My role is to guide you in unlocking insights, identifying patterns, find healing, and to help you progress toward measurable goals.

I use an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. My specialties include grief, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Whether you’re navigating loss, managing life transitions, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I will help you uncover tools to move forward.
