We don’t have to feel ‘not enough’ when walking out the door or opening up our phones. Through therapy, we can understand that how we think about ourselves impacts the way we view and interact with the world around us. By developing greater awareness of our thoughts, feelings and behaviors, we open ourselves up to self-compassion and gain the opportunity for increased self-acceptance.
I will strive to identify your goals and work toward achieving them by combining evidence-based practices with a transparent and empathetic approach. Therapy is successful when there is a strong alliance between the therapist and the client and it is my goal to cultivate this alliance, and provide an environment in which clients feel heard and valued.
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in American Studies and Business Economics and went on to work at a Public Relations firm. My interest in understanding consumer behavior and the impact of social media on mental health, helped inspire me to pursue a career dedicated to helping individuals navigate their mental health in today’s curated, competitive and comparative world. I am in the process of completing an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling at Fordham University.
My hobbies include running (I’ve run the NYC marathon), diving into a good thriller book, and trying new restaurants. I look forward to working with you!
