Citron

Following a career in finance, Leonard was trained at CPPD Counseling School, one of the UK’s leading humanistic integrative counseling institutions. He graduated New York University with a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health. He is a fellow of the Albert Ellis Institute and a fellow and executive committee member at the award winning Institute for Human Identity.

Leonard has given guest lectures at various universities and professional associations, including the Eastern Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.

He is a member of the British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy, the New York Mental Health Counselors Association, the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, NY CBT and the American Psychological Association.

Leonard is extensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and holds certifications in LGBTQ issues, anxiety and depression treatment. Areas of interest include Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Reality Therapy and stress reduction in the workplace.
