Damien DuPont, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor, researcher, writer, and educator based in New York City. With a diverse background in psychology, philosophy, and business, Damien brings a unique perspective to his therapeutic practice.

Damien holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy from the City University of New York Graduate Center and a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology with a focus on Mental Health Counseling from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State and is certified in Mental Health First Aid by the National Council for Behavioral Health

Damien is the founder and therapist at Aitia Counseling, a private practice he established in June 2020. Prior to this, he gained extensive experience in various therapeutic settings:
